PAR PLUMBING

(516) 887-4000

Lawrence J. Levine (“Larry”), Principal of The Par Group, Chairs the Plumbing Foundation’s Board of Directors. Founded in 1917 in Brooklyn, The Par Group has been family-owned and operated for four generations. Larry and his brothers Peter and Martin lead the company, which will eventually transition to the next generation and be led by Jesse, David, and Jeffrey.

The Par Group serves as an indispensable element in the plumbing world in New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey. Being indispensable can also be said of Larry; he has brought his depth of knowledge and years of experience to not only his position as Chairman to the Plumbing Foundation but also to The Plumbing Industry Board and The NYC Master Plumber and Master Fire Suppression Contractor Licensing Board, as well as the Executive Board of the Association of Contracting Plumbers of the City of New York (ACP).

And though his breadth of wisdom has heavily benefitted the plumbing industry, Larry also espouses support for Sunrise Day Camp as its Treasurer and for The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Friedberg JCC. Larry in turn is supported by his wife Gale, his four children, and seven grandchildren. He is a graduate of Lynbrook High School and George Washington University.
